| Criminal Division General Filing Requirements |

The Summit County Common Pleas Court does not accept any faxed or electronic filings at this time.

| Orders, Motions and Pleadings |
|
The original and 2 copies are required for filing.
|
| Subpoenas |
|
The original, 1 copy for the Clerk of Courts, 1 copy for attorney, and 1 copy for every name listed on subpoena (up to 5 names) are required.

| Application For Attorney Fees |
|
Three (3) originals signed by the judge are required, along with 2 extra copies, one of which will be returned for your file.
|
| Sealing of Records |
|
The cost to file for Expungement or Sealing of Records is $50.00. The person must be a one time offender and cannot have prior record. The original and 5 copies are required for filing. It must be filed after a time period of 3 years after probation termination or release from institution. Approximate time of completion is 3-6 months. An investigation will be performed by the Probation Department.

| Appearance Bonds |
Checks are not accepted for payment of Bonds. Credit Cards are accepted.
An additional State of Ohio mandated fee of $45.00 is charged on all bonds. The fee is credited towards court costs when disposition has been filed.
